Data of interest: In 1951, for New Brunswick, Sardine catch totalled 124,446lbs. with $1,833,000 value. Herring catches were at 59,082,000lbs. at $ 547,000 and Lobster catches were at 13,600,000lbs at $2,913,000 in value. In Charlotte County, New Brunswick, there were 1,460 fishermen in 1951.
