Query: My ggg-grandfather Thomas Jefferson Caswell was a cabinet maker in Charlotte and there is a piece of his furniture in the Ross Memorial Museum. I am trying to find out who his parents and grandparents are. I have reason to believe Joseph Caswell was his grandfather, Joseph came with his family to New Brunswick after the revolutionary War. - Theresa Larson (April 2010)

Query: Looking for information on Samuel William Watt(s). According to Vital Records from PANB he died 20 June 1824 in St. Andrews and left a wife and four children. He was born in Scotland, but have no information on his parents. In the 1851 census his son William is age 32 is living in St. Andrews with his wife Ann (McCoubrey) and children Jane, Robert, Mary Ann and William. I have a document that shows the ground floor plan of the All Saints Anglican Church. He had paid rent for pew #30 for the year 1817-1818. Also listed is a W. Samuel Watts. Was he a realtive? Samuel William was married to Jane Campbell. I am interested to information on what happened to Jane after Samuel's death. The name of the other three children and where he is buried. William's wife Ann died and he came to Aroostook County, Maine and remarried. - Judith Watt (April 2010)

Query: I am looking for Angus Stratton Roy and Family. Angus was born about 1848, in NB married Annie Elizabeth Whitlock date unknown. I can't find them in the 1881 census for Canada or the US in 1880. They are living in the US in 1900, year of immigration 1898 listed on the census. In the 1900 census Annie(b. abt 1860) had 11 children with 8 living, Not sure if this is right birth year, but I got it from the 1900 US census. She would have been only 16 or so when Carrie was born. Chidlren listed 1.Carrie abt 1876 ( on one of her childrens birth record list mother's birth place as Milltown, NB) 2. Edith Gertrude was born Jan 1, 1876 Milltown birth record on Provincial Archives site. 3. Charles Lewis Roy, b. July 2, 1882 Milltown source WW1 draft registration card The rest of the children I only have abt birth years. I can find Angus in the 1900 and 1910 US Census, but not in the 1920. Angus crosses the boarder April 26, 1929 records list residence as Oak Bay.Birth place Milltown, NB ,Cousin Alice Wilson in Oak Bay, NB It seems he stayed in the US for a few year and went back to Canada, then to US again. In 1930 he is in Medford Mass age 81 staying with daughter.Elva Roy Melling. Elva was born Nov 9, 1897 (from Social Security index) family says she was born in Calais, Maine. I can find no record of birth for her in Maine. And if the year of immigration was 1898 then she was born in Canada. 1900 Census say Angus was born in Maine, the 1910 says Canada and the children all say parents are born in Canada - Cheryl (April 2010)
